"Using the Pilates method to help people become stronger and more flexible is very rewarding.
When patients feel empowered by better body awareness and strength, then I have done my job well."

"One of the beauties of Pilates is that it can be adapted for any person, or condition. Although I love
working with athletes, when someone not used to exercise gets hooked, that's the best feeling, knowing
you have really helped them make a positive change in their life." |
Melissa has trained hundreds of people in Pilates for both fitness and rehabilitation. Being a nationally ranked
professional rock climber, Melissa knows what it takes to become a high level athlete. And one of her greatest
gifts is being able to adapt an exercise program to meet any individual's needs. Melissa focuses on developing
personal home exercise programs that encourage core strengthening, flexibility, and posture to address acute and
chronic pain. Her new video, Fitlife Pilates, is available at Alta.
