ALTA Physical & Complementary Therapies |
Alta Physical Therapy first opened it doors in 1990 with two founding physical therapists (Forrest Walker and Jane Milliff) and a part time
receptionist. The excitement of that time continues as we (now ALTA Physical & Complementary Therapies ) grow and evolve.
|
"When we opened the clinic, we wanted the freedom to grow and change as we learned new and better ways to help our clients recover from
injuries and accidents," explains Jane Milliff. "We're trained as manual therapists, so back then, we used joint mobilization, myofascial
release, and medical exercise training as our primary treatment methods." |
"We still offer traditional manual therapy, but we have learned that not any one treatment approach works for every patient. So now we offer
many treatment styles and innovative ways to get to a good result, and that's very exciting," adds Forrest Walker. |
With twelve highly trained professionals, the clinic offers Pilates,
Balance Training, Music Medicine, Athletic Performance Enhancement,
Integrative Manual TherapyTM and BodyTalkTM,
in addition to the more traditional approaches to treating orthopedic problems. |
Alta's 4,700 square foot office is located at 2955 Baseline Road in Boulder. With wonderful mountain views, six
private treatment rooms, a locker room, a gym area, and a full Pilates studio, we have something for everyone. |
